Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is responsible for the oversight of MCP Middle and High School. The board advocates, promotes and adopts important policies that govern the schools programs. In addition, the board supports the development of educational programs, facilities, fiscal and human resources.
John Yost, is the acting president of MCP Middle & High School in Scotts Valley, California. The founder and principal of ProCompass Management Services, has been helping companies solve management and operations problems for more than 25 years. With a solid background in management and leadership, John has an in-depth understanding of the issues businesses face in achieving excellence in performance, as well as the tools and methodologies available to help them reach their goals.
Debbie Moore serves as Vice-Chair of MCP. As proprietor of Darrell Dukes Insurance Associates in San Jose, California, Debbie helps families protect their most valuable asset--their ability to provide for the family.
As a wife and mother of two boys, Moore has committed a great deal of time to community and education legislation.
Kimberly Ferri Cakebread
Kimberly serves as a member of the board of trustees. Cakebread brings a unique breadth to the academy with her technical writing experience. When Kimberly isn't writing policy and procedure manuals for Silicon Valley startups, she is likely supporting one of our current Parent Council’s fundraisers.
Liz serves as a member of the board of trustees. Villalobos has a background as an environmental scientist supporting government and private sector projects. A mother of three, she is passionate about children’s access to quality education as a route to successful adulthood. Liz has been involved with MCP since 2011.
